ORIENTAL 1 is a four-legged self-elevating cantilever jack-up drilling rig designed by Sonnat Offshore Company. Constructed in 1985, the rig is capable of operating in water depths up to 300 ft and drilling wells to a nominal depth of 20,000 ft.

Designed for offshore drilling operations, ORIENTAL 1 features a heavy-duty cantilever system, high-capacity mud circulation, powerful diesel generation units, and modern well control equipment to support demanding offshore projects.
